The St. Bernard’s College community is deeply saddened by the passing of Ryan Arrowsmith, a cherished old collegian from the Class of 2012. Ryan tragically passed away on March 14, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and love that will be remembered by all who knew him.
Ryan’s connection to St. Bernard’s runs deep, with multiple generations of the Arrowsmith family having walked through the College’s halls. His father, Grant Arrowsmith (Class of 1982), as well as his brothers, Ashley (Class of 2007) and James (Class of 2008), all attended the College, and their presence has been a part of the rich history of St. Bernard’s for many years. The entire Arrowsmith family has been an integral part of the College community, and Ryan’s passing leaves a profound void.
During his time at St. Bernard’s, Ryan was known for his warmth, his genuine nature, and his ability to connect with everyone around him. Whether as a student or in the years following his graduation, Ryan continued to inspire those who crossed his path, leaving a lasting impact through his thoughtful actions and unwavering support for his peers and family.
The St. Bernard’s College family extends its deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Arrowsmith family during this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts are with his parents, siblings, and extended family members who are grieving the loss of Ryan.
May Ryan’s memory live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and may the St. Bernard’s community find strength and comfort in the love and support of one another as we honor his life and legacy.
Rest in peace, Ryan. You will always be remembered.
